Plot visualization
Plots can be visualized by opening a Plot Group: the Plot View allows you to access plot attributes, search and preview plots based on selected attributes, and identify any issues.
Filtering options
To navigate your data quickly and efficiently, Picterra Tracer offers a two-step search feature located in the top-right corner of your map interface.
This feature requires two inputs:
- First, choose the type of attribute you are looking for.
- Second, specify additional values or subcategories related to the selected attribute from the dropdown menu in the second search field.
Once you select these parameters, the plot map updates automatically to display only the relevant plots based on your search.
Attribute table
By selecting any plot, you can access the attribute table and visualize all attributes related to that plot.
What are attributes?
Attributes encompass additional information or metadata that users can link with their plots. These details offer context or supplementary insights into the plots, facilitating improved organization and analysis of the data. By categorizing, labeling, or describing plots more comprehensively, attributes enhance the overall comprehension of the data.
What types of attributes does Picterra Tracer support?
Picterra Tracer supports three types of attributes:
Attribute Type | Examples |
Text | Cooperative names, country, region, etc. |
Numbers | Coordinates, area, etc. |
Text & Numbers | Plot ID, Supplier ID, etc. |
Picterra Tracer automatically generates several attributes, see few examples below:

Attributes visualization per plot group
In addition to viewing the attribute by selecting a polygon or point, you can also visualize them by clicking the attribute button in the top-right side of the Plot tab. Upon activating this function, the attribute table will open.
